MAJOR UPDATES - Marni's Realm

The monster placement in the Marni's Realm has been partially changed. We've tried to keep the overall balance and profit as similar as possible, and if there are any shortcomings, we will continue to make improvements together. Thank you.
  • Revamped the following 38 Private Monster Zones in Marni's Realm.
    • Improved the accessibility of Marni's Realm for more Adventurers via server optimization.
      • Adjusted the positions and ranges of each zone.
      • Some objects and animals that exist in the regular Monster Zones will no longer appear in Marni's Realm.
    • Reduced the monster respawn time within Marni's Realm significantly. (Note: For some cases, it remains the same as before.)

How to use Krogdalo's Sanctuary
  • Clicking on the horse icon in the upper left corner of the screen with a character that has Krogdalo's Sanctuary allows you to store one of each Mythical Horse via the Krogdalo's Sanctuary UI.
  • The stored Mythical Horses can be retrieved at any time while idling and can be swapped with other stored Mythical Horses.
 
 
Notes on Krogdalo's Sanctuary
  • If you have retrieved any of Mythical Horses from Krogdalo's Sanctuary, you cannot store Krogdalo's Sanctuary in the storage.
  • You cannot retrieve Mythical Horses in the Red Battlefield or Battle Arena where mounts cannot be used.
  • You cannot store Mythical Horses carrying trade goods in Krogdalo's Sanctuary.
 

Krogdalo is the King of Celestial Horses who came down to care for the earth at the command of the Goddess. When he came down from the skies his majestic appearance and thunderous hoof-beat drew a hundred spirits admirers to follow behind him. Clouds of five colors floats above his head, and music could be heard among the cloud.

Krogdalo pulled out some hair from his mane and let it disperse. From his hairs came the wind, trees, and fire. After he finished touring this world he went back to the skies above. It is said that he sometimes comes back down to visit his children.

Krogdalo's Children Legend
Arduanatt
Krogdalo, the spirit of the wind and earth, had three children:
Arduanatt, Diné, and Doom.
The eldest was Arduanatt, the one who resembled the wind.
With the two wings attached to its body, Arduanatt could freely soar and glide in the air.
Arduanatt one day met and befriended Secrua, daughter of the sun.
Unlike Secrua, who was just and passionate like the sun,
Arduanatt's soul was free-roaming. This caused a lot of quarrels between them.
Eventually Arduanatt's wings melted down after a big fight,
causing her to fall to the ground.
To this day, Kamasylvians believe that after ages of hiding from Secrua,
the fallen Arduanatt will soar again among millions of ordinary horses running on the ground.
Diné
Diné, the forest's most beloved one, was the second offspring among the three children of Krogdalo.
With her fearsome, golden horn, she protected the woods of Kamasylvia from their invaders.
Being the protector of the forest, she was loved and worshipped by the forest, and at the same time, alongside her another sister, Arduanatt, was the only one who could go close to Doom.
One day, a small snake came to see Diné. With tears in its eyes, the snake looked like it was in desperate need of help and said there was a huge group of crows filling up the skies black, leading everyone to death. Fooled by the snake, Diné hurriedly strode towards the misty forest. However, the forest seemed peaceful as usual. Only later did she realize that the snake was gone and came back to her mother's trace, but by then Doom had already left the forest.
The thought that she had failed to protect her own family made her feel despair. She soon realized that she needed to find Doom at once. Leaving her duty of protecting the woods behind, Diné left the forest for the desert.
Since that day, whenever they found a golden mirage from beyond the forest, the people of Kamasylvia would believe that Diné was coming back to the arms of the woods once again from the arid desert.
Doom
Doom, the master of flames, was the youngest among the three children of Krogdalo.
Every step she made created searing blaze that burnt everything.
Unlike Arduanatt of the wind, who flew around the skies freely, or Diné of the earth, forest's most beloved one, Doom was not free from the burden of her own flame. Apart from her sisters, no one would dare come close to Doom. Because of this, she suffered from loneliness for a long time.
There was someone who had been eyeing Doom and her agony. It was Ibedor, the serpent protector of the Mirror of the Rift.
Take a good look at your true self. At the end of the arid desert, there lies a burning hell gate. It is there, where you shall meet a person. Weep no more over your bitter loneliness, for the one you will meet will understand you the way you are. With this companion, you shall be able to run freely across the lands with your blazing inferno.
Convinced by Ibedor's words, Doom left her mother for the very first time.
According to the records, Doom was last seen on a stormy day, disappearing beyond a roaring sandstorm of the desert.
 

 

Mass opening of Production Node Sacks

You can now open all the sacks obtained from Nodes in one go. In fact, we began developing this feature when we started converting each by-product into a sack, but it took a little longer due to complexities in the process. We apologize to adventurers who may have found it inconvenient to open each one individually. Moving forward, we will strive to implement these quality-of-life improvements in a more timely manner.
  • Improved so that now you can open multiple sacks obtained by workers at production nodes at once.

Node War Participation Opportunity Return Conditions

  • Changed the conditions for returning Node War participation opportunity.

If the participant's guild (alliance) in the Node War either destroys an enemy fort or achieves a total of 100 or more kills/deaths, the opportunity will be returned. If within the first 10 min the guild (alliance) fort is not destroyed, and the participant's guild (alliance) either destroys an enemy fort or achieves a total of 100 or more kills/deaths, the opportunity will be returned.

Find My Item Hotkey - Ctrl + F

We've incorporated the Ctrl + F key, which many of you frequently use when searching for something, into the "Find My Item" feature as well. Since this is a popular function, it's our small hope that you'll be able to use it more naturally.
  • Added a Hotkey (Ctrl + F) for the "Find My Item" feature.
    • The "Find My Item" is a feature that allows you to search for all the items you possess within your Family.
      • The searched items can also be retrieved to the current character via the Storage/Transaction Maid.
    • This feature can be used immediately by pressing Ctrl + F, and can also be accessed via different Hotkey or ESC menu - Convenience (F8) - Find My Item.
Try out the Find My Item feature in the ESC menu - Convenience (F8)!
You can search for any items in equipped items, inventory, storage, Central Market Warehouse, and Black Spirit’s Safe all at once.

Improved Find NPCs feature
The "Find NPCs" feature was designed to make it easier to locate NPCs you have encountered at least once while adventuring and learning knowledge in Black Desert. Now, even if you've never met them before, you can search for and find key NPCs such as blacksmiths, innkeeper, sky balloon, food vendor, etc., and receive directions to them.
  • When using the Find NPCs feature, some NPCs can now be searched and navigated without learning their knowledge.
    • NPCs that can be searched and navigated without knowledge include those related to cooking, inn, stable, blacksmith, fishing, and sky balloon.
      • However, NPCs that you don't have the knowledge about will be displayed as "Unknown NPC".
    • When searching in the search bar at the bottom of the Find NPCs, right-clicking the NPC name will display navigation.

Equipment Enhancement Guide

  • Added an equipment enhancement guide that is only visible to new adventurers.
    • When using the Black Spirit's enhancement, an "Equipment Enhancement Guide" button will be displayed on the right side of the UI.
    • In the Equipment Enhancement Guide, you can check the basic information about Black Desert’s equipment enhancement levels and methods.
 
 

 
  • Added the tag, Fixed Dehkia's Lantern Spot to the Monster Zone UI.
    • Check the description of the tag to find out the exact location for summoning Dehkia’s Lantern.
 

 

  • The entrance to Atoraxxion, "Talibre’s Door", is now displayed on the World Map (M).
    • This icon will be displayed when you've learned the knowledge of Talibre’s Door via the Atoraxxion main quest.

 


 
  • Changed the order of Imoogi in the Black Shrine UI to match the order of Sun, Moon, and Earth bosses.
  • Added a usage guide for the R key when interacting with NPCs.

  • Added a tutorial on how to obtain and combine Vipiko’s Rocking Horse and Vipiko’s Calling Horn for those who haven't claimed them via Challenge (Y).
    • If you are above Lv. 20 without receiving all of the Vipiko’s Challenges, the tutorial will start when entering a Safe Zone.

  • Added a tooltip to the life information icon displayed on the family information page.
  • Fixed the issue where the same type of openID could be linked.
  • The launcher was improved as below:
    • A back button was added to the identity verification page.

  • Fixed an issue where the message was not displayed when a horse connected to a wagon grows and learns a skill.
  • Fixed an issue where Melee AP increase was applied instead of AP increase when using Blessing of Taebaek V.
  • Fixed an issue where a faintly shimmering light was displayed in the abyss when falling into the sea, during [Magnus] To the Dragon Palace.
  • Fixed an issue where the pack of Manshaum appearing in specific locations in Manshaum Forest had different respawn times compared to other packs.
  • Fixed an issue where the button to exit the Sea Palace was disabled until all conditions were met during a specific quest.
  • Fixed an issue where the location of Marniwave was not saved when changing servers.
  • Fixed an issue where the path was displayed abnormally in a specific location in Velia.
