MAJOR UPDATES - Guild Manor

Guild Manor has been added. The Guild Manor was designed to provide "a space just for our guild," but with so many guilds in Black Desert, there were constraints like location and required land.
 
As a result, Guild Manor utilizes the manor of a guild member, allowing the invitation of guild members to the selected manor. We hope this is a meaningful update for adventurers who want a place to rest and chat with guild members, and for adventurers who like to decorate their manor.
 
You can enter the Guild Manor via the Enter Guild Manor button in the Guild (G) window. Similar to the Traveler's Map, you will only be moved to the manor after the loading gauge has completely filled.
  • Added the "Guild Manor" feature, allowing a guild member's manor to be set as the guild's representative manor.
    • Adventurers with the Guild Master or Advisor position can designate one of the manors owned by a guild member as the "Guild Manor."
    • The designated manor can be freely used by guild members.




How to Set the Guild Manor
  • The Guild Master or an Advisor can set the guild manor by clicking "No guild manor has been set." in the Guild Window (G).
    • In the Guild Manor Settings window, enter the Family Name of the member you wish to designate and specify the manor they own.
    • The Family name of the Guild Manor's owner will display in the Guild Window (G).
  • The Guild Manor can be reset by the Guild Master or an Advisor in the same manner.
1. Click the "No guild manor has been set." message displayed in the Guild (G) window.


2. Enter the Family name of the member you wish to designate for the guild manor, and select one of their manors to set as the Guild Manor.


 
How to Use Guild Manor
  • Any guild member can move to the Guild Manor from anywhere.
How to Enter Enter using the "Guild Manor Teleport" button in the Guild Window (G).
(You can enter the Guild Manor from all areas, excluding some content and regions, with a set amount of time required for teleport.)
How to Exit Move to the character's previous location through the Guild Manor exit.
[Notes]
- You can only set rented-out manors as the guild manor. Manors with expired contracts cannot be set as the guild manor.
- You cannot press the Node/Conquest War and War of the Roses participation buttons inside the Guild Manor.
- You will automatically exit the Guild Manor when using functions like Disconnect, Character Selection, or Escape.
- You cannot move to the Guild Manor in the following situations:
 * In certain locations such as Red Battlefield, Arena of Solare, Guild League, Black Shrine, Battle Arena, Jails and Marni Server
 * When Node/Conquest War or War of the Roses participation buttons are pressed to Yes.
 * When your character is over-encumbered.
 * When carrying Processing Trade Items in the character or mount inventory, similar to Abyssal Well

Lakiaro

The method for collecting Lakiaro with a hoe has been revised. After gathering Lakiaro in Kamasylvia and Drieghan, an additional Lakiaro will appear nearby, allowing for further discoveries similar to finding multiple ages-old wild ginseng. Starting with at least one Lakiaro, discoveries may continue until a Primitive Lakiaro is found.
 
The initial Lakiaro obtained will have a grade assigned randomly. Subsequent Lakiaro found will increase in grade with each discovery, potentially reaching the Primitive grade. (However, if a Primitive Lakiaro is found first, no additional Lakiaro will appear nearby due to the depletion of the earth’s energy.)
 
To align with the gathering minigame, we've increased the Gathering EXP from the Lakiaro minigame and added new exchange items for "Energy of Lakiaro" including "Millennial Wild Ginseng." Additionally, the probabilities and quantities for obtaining the Energy of Lakiaro have been adjusted.
  • Improved so that a new Lakiaro is found nearby after finishing Lakiaro gathering.
    • The newly discovered Lakiaro appears at least once, and additional ones are found according to a set probability.
      • The grade of the initially discovered Lakiaro is determined by a set probability, and subsequently discovered Lakiaro may be of a higher grade than the previous one.
    • Newly discovered Lakiaro remain in place for 15 min before disappearing.
 
  • Tripled the Gathering EXP obtainable at each grade when gathering Lakiaro.

  • Increased the chance of obtaining Energy of Lakiaro from the Lakiaro Sack by 10 times.
  • Increased the minimum and maximum quantity of Energy of Lakiaro obtainable from the Lakiaro Sack according to a set probability as follows.

War of the Roses

  • Improved so that mount death/destruction on the server does not incur penalties during the War of the Roses.
    • However, penalties will apply to mounts with Damage stats, such as guild mounts and large ships.

Green Grade Horse Gear Simplification

Green-grade horse gear, previously divided by type and equip effect, has been simplified.
 
These simplified horse gears were designed according to specific concepts, but most adventurers have been using the Storm gear. To allow adventurers to make more meaningful use of green-grade horse gear, the equip effects of horse gear have been integrated and "Movement Speed Decrease" has been removed.
 
We'll also be continuing our work to simplify items that need it in the future.

Certain Materials' Weight Reduced
When crafting foods and drinks through Cooking or Alchemy, Purified Water and Distilled Water were previously heavier than other materials, hindering mass production. 
We have reduced the weight of these materials, lessening this burden and allowing for more efficient crafting.

[Guild] Pledge of the Blood Usage Condition

Updates in May and June allowed for various authorities to be granted to guild members regardless of their position.
However, the use of [Guild] Pledge of the Blood was only granted to guild members with the rank of Guild Officer or higher, requiring rank changes.
Now, [Guild] Pledge of the Blood can be purchased, stored, and used freely if members have the "Learn/Use Guild Skills" authority granted, regardless of position.
  • Adjusted the conditions for using the "[Guild] Pledge of the Blood" as follows.
    • Improved the inconvenience where guild members with "Learn/Use Guild Skills" authority, but not holding a Guild Officer position or higher, couldn't purchase or move the "[Guild] Pledge of the Blood" from Guild Storage.

MONSTER

Tungrad Ruins
As you grow stronger, it becomes more frequent to tackle multiple monster groups while the "Rumblings of Ulukita" buff is active in the Tungrad Ruins. However, the Tungrad Visionary wasn't affected by the damage increase effect from the buff, often being left behind as you moved on to the next monster group. This has been addressed, and now, when the Tungrad Visionary is knocked down, it will receive a DP decrease effect, making it easier to take down.
  • Improved to apply DP Decrease debuff when the Tungrad Visionary is knocked down by an attack.
 
The location of the Tungrad Visionary near the Tungrad Ruins node has been adjusted, which was separated from monster groups, to allow for a more smoother experience.
  • Fixed the issue where the Tungrad Visionary was too far from the group at a specific location.
 
  • Fixed the issue where some effects of Erebjork in the Trial of Erethea were abnormal.
  • Changed the Deposed Crown Prince to be knocked down in place when attacked by Duoksini during the Tale of the Deposed Crown Prince.


MOUNT

  • Fixed the issue where the cooldown from overheating after firing cannons could be shortened by repeatedly mounting and unmounting.
  • If you unmount and remount cannons during the overheat cooldown, the cooldown will take longer than if you remain mounted.

Main Quest Progression Improvement
Improvements have been made to the auto-summon of mounts during Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah Main quests, allowing for better progression. Mount summoning has been added for convenient traversal to subsequent quest locations, and adjustments have been made to prevent mount summoning at potentially dangerous points upon completing certain Main quests.

Jordine Saga
We've improved the combat difficulty of bosses encountered during the Jordine Saga.
For Karanda, adjustments were made to prevent adventurers from having to re-enter the combat area after being knocked back.
For Quint and Muraka, changes have been implemented to reduce quest progression difficulties caused by high damage during combat.

  • Improved the usability of the Notepad, Guild Intro, and Bio functions.
    • Up and down (↑, ↓) keys moves the cursor to the above or below line.
    • Ctrl + left and right (←, →) keys moves the cursor by word.
    • LMB moves the cursor to the clicked location.
    • SHIFT + LMB selects all sections up to the clicked location.
    • Mouse drag selects all dragged sections.
    • Fixed the issue where the dragged part would blink with the input cursor.
    • Fixed the issue where long sentences went outside the UI.
 
  • Added a guide to show the type of Gathering action, such as Fluid Collecting and Lumbering, for interactions with gathering items when using the gamepad UI

  • [Shai] Fixed the character's hair to be more natural when using the unique idle animation of the Marshmallow Myop Outfit with certain hairstyles.
  • Fixed some phrases in the pet tutorial that were incorrect.
  • Fixed the issue where the screen brightness was excessively dark during certain cutscenes when the graphics was set below medium.
  • Changed so that the Use Cron Stone button is deactivated if the item registered in the enhancement window cannot be enhanced.
    • When enhancement is possible, the Use Cron Stone button is reactivated, and the previous usage status is set to the saved value.
  • Fixed the issue where the spacing between the character level and character name was too narrow when checking the simplified End Game window.
  • Fixed the issue where the character could not be controlled smoothly in certain situations when all Energy was consumed during water scooping.
  • Fixed the issue where furniture installed in Hyeollokdang were sometimes not visible.
  • Fixed the issue where clicking a guild name through the Search function in the Guild Rankings menu displayed incorrect Guild Information pages.
  • Fixed the issue where text in the Contribution Point Usage window were overflowing.
  • Fixed the issue where Dehkia's Artifact - All Damage Reduction & All Evasion incorrectly applied Extra AP Against Monsters and Monster Damage Reduction effects.
  • [Dark Knight] Fixed the issue where part of the arm was unnatural during idle animation in Awakening with the Sovereign Vediant equipped.
  • [Lahn] Fixed the appearance to be more natural when wearing Academia Armor with Bloody Gloves.

  • Fixed the issue where the camera did not zoom in after character login when using the gamepad UI.
  • Fixed the issue where login rewards were not automatically collected after midnight.
  • Fixed the issue where Honey-licking Bears could sometimes not be attacked.
