After reaching this level of detail, I just don't wanna go back. I wanna add more and more detail until I'm satisfied.
The warrior’s also not as good compared to the others, since it’s my first attempt, and I kinda wanna redraw it.
I’m not trying to make excuses, but it takes too much time, plus the Eid al-Fitr holiday pulled me away for a couple of weeks.
So, I decided to stop here and post it as is, even though there’s still some time left.
I'm really sorry that I couldn't finish all of the portraits. I’ll just keep updating the character portraits as the deadline gets closer.
If by any chance I get selected, I’d love to complete it-up to 21 character portraits, or maybe even all the classes.

Criticism and suggestions are very welcome.

Yes, that's right—I did tracing, but I redrew everything myself rather than simply pasting images.

The event’s web article only mentioned the prohibition of AI-generated images:

"③ Images created with AI are not eligible for participation."

So I assumed tracing was allowed, whether it was for a chibi base or for the hair.

I apologize for my ignorance, and I promise it won’t happen again in the future.

Also, I wasn’t one of the winners, so I thought it wouldn’t cause any issues.

I appreciate your clarification I know you didn't win but let me ask you, do you understand what "tracing" and "re-drawing" means as well as the difference?

Both are considered as plagiarism if you do not credit the original artist or acknowledge the original source. Even tracing parts of an/multiple artworks into a "new" drawing is still considered as plagiarism.This does not apply to personal use such as art studies of course, but submitting it for a contest is considered derivative work and is not appropriate at all.

The event's web article also states "Copyright infringement or plagiarism results in disqualification, with potential prize repossession even after winner announcements." if you're not aware.

You're an ambassador who's supposed to set a good example and seeing that post is very embarassing and disappointing honestly. If you are also not aware this is stated in the BDO Ambassador webpage "Any Adventurers selected as Black Desert Ambassador who lack activity, have inappropriate chat/activities, or post inappropriate/thoughtless content on the forums will be disqualified and have their Ambassador privileges revoked, along with withdrawal of any sent titles."

I really hope you learn something from this issue and if you think you're falsely accused you can always post a speedpaint or smtg as proof. Thank you.

I don't pay attention to those people - they don't understand this culture at all, they just like to stir up trouble.
