Good evening everyone,
Currently, I’m sitting on a bridge — a bridge that’s used to connect paths or roads across a river,
just like what we’re going to discuss in this guide.
Back then, you could check it here: https://www.somethinglovely.net/bdo/
And since it's outdated and can no longer be used, this feature will be really useful—especially if you haven't seen it before.
Can also be helpful for completing this kind of logbook:
Book 2 of Fughar’s Adventure Log
Page 5 – Connect Altinova–Calpheon Nodes
Okey, without further ado, let’s get started.
First, click this menu on your map (M).
It will show this UI form.
You need to fill in both nodes that you want to connect. Let’s use an example: from Heidel to Grana.
Fill in "Heidel" as your starting node, and "Grana" as your end node.
You can type part of the name, press Enter, and select from the list that appears.
For city or node names that use special characters like Grana, you can just type the first letter (e.g., "G")
and search manually by scrolling through the dropdown menu and clicking once you find it.
You can’t search by typing the ending part (like "ana"); you need to start typing from the beginning.
Once you’re done, click Preview. You’ll see the best route that uses the minimum CP.
Below that, you’ll find more detailed information about how much CP you’re about to spend, the energy required, the number of nodes, and its availability.
You can also check the "Include Invested Nodes" checkbox to include them in the best route and CP calculation.
It will show like this: the green line represents nodes you’ve already invested in, while the red line represents nodes you need to invest CP in to connect.
You can press Delete to reset it.
You can also experiment by connecting Velia to Altinova like this.
Once you’re satisfied with the result, you can connect the nodes by pressing Connect Node, as long as you have enough Energy and CP.
Alternatively, you can connect them manually and choose your preferred nodes based on other benefits, like the resources they offer for your worker empire.
Criticism and suggestions are very welcome.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Irishtia
