I wanted to write a short story just for flavor, but unfortunately, system always said that I exceed the maximum number of characters.
I already removed quite a lot of stuff, but to no avail.
So instead, I'll just be providing a synopsis of it.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Well, Enjoy!

Pumpkin Head Musician (Unmasked)
The Diary of the Pumpkin Head Musician
Almost every day, a not so little girl, just slightly taller than the average height for her race, goes to a certain area. She brings out papers, ink, and her favorite quill and writes on her paper filled with lines. On a certain day, a curious passer by sat and joined her. Not so much as join, but watch her with scrutinizing yet curious eyes. After some silence, the girl, Scanily, brought out her favorite Sol and gently blew on it while closing her eyes. The sound danced around the area as if the wind pulled its hands and tagged it along wherever it went. It was Scanily’s first ever complete piece and not one among many disregarded or labelled as work-in-progress pieces. After the piece, the other girl drew closer without even her noticing the presence. As she stared at Scanily’s face, she was holding her own Sol. Together with the permission of Scanily, the both of them played in tune. As the day drew on, the other girl had already left, leaving behind Scanily on the stone bench. As the afternoon breeze gently caressed her cheeks and stroked her hair, she fell into a daze, eventually falling asleep while lying down. She would have never guessed that her sweet dreams will become a nightmare.
As Scanily awoke, she found herself in an area very unfamiliar to her. It was somewhere on a rocky mountain with ruins of a shrine surrounding the area. Her clothes were very different to what she was previously wearing. Black overalls and glimmering gold and ruby like sheen on two sashes over both her shoulders. But there was one thing which stood out among her person, that was her head gear. It is a black pumpkin with carvings of a face which glowed gold in color. No matter what she did, it would not come off. After have given up on trying to remove, she remained cautious. Curious as she may be, she had been vigilant and observant of her surroundings. Nothing was there but her. She mustered her strength, clenched her fist, and started walking along the canyon.
She eventually came across what seems to be the exit. An exit with abandoned tents and supplies. In the middle of it all was a strange ring like structure made of stone. It was about six times her height or even more. She decided to step out a bit further to get a bearing on where she was, but as she turned back to the mountain, everything seemed to have disappeared. Even after walking straight, it was only plain sand that was in front of her. After a day with almost no water nor food, she had not felt parched nor famished, which was strange. Even more so, she did not feel hot despite wearing black and a head gear slightly more than double the size of her head. After walking for several hours with not so much as a rock in sight, she flew into a fit of rage while spouting out profane words as she cursed on about the land she was in. As she was throwing a tantrum, she found a pathway going down. She hesitated at first but gathered the courage to walk towards it. At the end of the path, she saw a large open area which seemed t be from another world. She continued waling and saw some kind of giant humanoid stone contraption. It was only for a moment, but she felt tremors and rumbling in the area. She feare such things might happen, she immediately left the area. After calming down and walking straight, she saw an upward slope towards the summit, or which looks to be the summit. She pressed on and when she finally reached a high point, it was already night with the crescent moon at full height. She reminisced of the past, on how lonely it was. Just spending a day without anyone to talk to but herself was quite a miserable thing. Thinking of such made her shed a slight ball of tear in the corner of her eye.
She continued to walk even the night. She did not feel the temperature during a cold desert night, which was strange but she decided to ignore it as her priority now was to find civilization. As she thought of such, she arrived at Sand Grain Bazaar. She did not know of the name till a later time. She was excited at the sight. It was bustling with different races in one area. They mingled with one another and bartered and traded this for that, nick for nack. By the time she arrived, her stomach growled so load it made curious onlookers stare at her. Some laughed it off, some ignored, and others were curious, but mainly due to her headgear. A man behind a stall offered her skewers. Scanily felt bad about not being able to pay due to no coins on her person, but the man insisted on giving her the skewers. Reluctantly, Scanily accepted them. By nightfall, Scanily had nowhere to sleep. She begged others to spare a room, even a small space for her to sleep but no one accepted. Just as she was about to give up and sleep by the entrance, a woman picked her up from the alley as if she was a stray cat. The woman offered her a room, food, and even information. Scanily was almost brought to tears by the kindness and was willing t pay anything, but the woman refused. Instead, they chat. That would be enough a compensation for the food and the nights stay. It was here that Scanily learned about the Black Desert, Sand Grain Bazaar, Crescent Shrine and Mountains, Valencia City and the areas to the west. By daybreak, Scanily decided to head west and find some jobs to earn some silver, and eventually find her home. As a parting gift the woman gave her some spare silver coins, leftover food from last night’s dinner, and an old map which displayed the cities and other towns. She was really grateful and vowed in her heart to repay the kindness which the woman has shown to her. But all these were just beginning.
After a few years, she has gained a myriad of knowledge, travelled the land, and even owned residences. When she stepped foot into Altinova, she was stupefied. It was larger than the town she had been living in the past. It took quite a while for her to settle down a bit and find jobs to fuel her income. After a few months of hard mercenary and labor work around the Mediah Territory, she set out further west to Heidel. There, she would buy her first house, but that would be later into the future. Serendia Territory was an agricultural land and gained knowledge on the know how’s on agriculture. She decided that this will be her base from now on. She continued to journey west, to Calpheon. There, she heard rumors on what was beyond the Great Ocean. It tickled her little adventurous heart. This later on led her to purchasing a ship for herself – an Epheria Caravel. She wanted a Carrack, but it was too expensive. While waiting for its completion, she had decided to journey on Dreighan, Southeast of Calpheon. It was a very calm and serene landscape. A mountainous region which she prefers. In the end, she had also bought a house at Duvencrune. She did not stop there, Scanily travelled further west again towards Kamasylvia where she has seen the Navarn Steppe, which was filled with different and strange looking creatures. Creatures far different that what she has seen so far. As time flew by, she eventually met the upper echelons of Kamasylvia Territory and had a chance to meet the Queen on many occasions. With such beautiful scenery, she wanted to buy her own house, again, but alas, it was too expensive to own. So maybe after she has earned more, she would consider buying one there.
The Epheria Caravel has been completed by the time she had arrived back at Port Epheria. And a few months later, she was ready to set sail. She had months supply of rations, trusted sailors, and adventure for the great unknown. As she was about to set sail, she had already bid farewell to her comrades, her friends who fought with her hitherto. She decided to come back anyway. She had finally bought a house, had maids and butlers attending to her beloved pets, and a home to return to. This home was not the physical one. It was the sense of having a place to return to, a place to banter, fight, and have fun. It was the place filled with lots of memories since coming to this unknown place. It was the guild she belonged to.
She narrowed her eyes and had a thin smile on her face. Remembering such made her want to stay, but her curiosity overcame it. I’ll return anyway. And I’ll have to give them souvenirs. is what she decided on. So, she must return. Return to the place she belongs to. The place she could call a home.
