Hi hi its Poz (๑'ᵕ'๑)⸝*
We recently got a free Fishing Rod that is only usable for 30 days.
Since this is one of the best to do some AFK fishing, I will be giving simple tips to tricks to maximize it~
(๑˘︶˘๑)
Before starting, its best to have your Fishing Mastery level at Professional 1 to be able to auto discard lower fish grades.
Make sure to finish your Olvia Academy to obtain the blue gear armor, chair, and other accessories for free as well!

With limited rods like this or other similar rods such as the images below:
they are unrepairable so its best to maximize by using Durability Reduction to increase its lifespan. It can last up to months if you setup correctly.
>>RECOMMENDED DR LIGHTSTONE SET<<I am using the Blacksmith's Blessing set to get the 30% durability reduction.

>>RECOMMENDED STARTER FISHING GEARSET<<For starters, you will get a bunch of items from doing Olvia Academy (highly recommended!) a few of them are Floramos and Crio. Floramos gives the same stats as a TRI Manos Accessory.
However, if you're more experienced you can always use the TET/PEN Manos Clothes with Preonne Accessories. · · ─ ·✶· ─ · · Another I would like to remind is always use an 8 set outfit as it gives extra durability reduction buffs. If you require extra, take out your pets with durability skills. By using an 8 set outfit, you get extra 10% Durability Reduction.
For very slow durability reduction you can stack up to around 90%. |

When you fish, you will always see this window at the top of your screen:
Fishing Resources determines how fast you get a "bite", the lower it is (e.g Exhausted) the longer it will be for you to catch a fish.
There are 5 grades of fish that you can auto-discard. Ideally you want to discard blue grade fishes and keep Gold & Red. (Requires Artisan 1)
Make sure to checklist the "Do not board other adventurer's ship" to prevent your character getting kidnapped mid-fishing ( •́ω•̩̥̀ )

TIP#1 - Fishing Chairs Trick
Ever wonder how people are still standing while having their fishing chairs equipped?
1. Unequip the chair before you cast your rod
2. Re-equip the chair after you finish casting the rod.
One thing I notice is you fish slightly faster compared to sitting on the chair^^

TIP#2 - Remote Price% Checking
Do you know you can check remotely by clicking the "wheel" icon or Trade Managers?
Each attempt to check costs 2 energy.
However, this way you don't have to visit the trade managers physically and waste time just to
find out whether it's worth to sell it there.
!TIP Remember there's distance bonus and keep watch of the %price rise & swap servers when needed.
