Hello all!
As you already know in SEA there's the mega alliance x3d that killed the Siege content for a 4bil bag - see attached picture, last Siege results from 3 Servers under 500 total kills.
While this is just sad and multiple guilds decision of going for a bag, I have a suggestion that might fix it and is worth thinking since a lot of players are missing on a very good content that was implemented over years and turned into mostly nothing.
1. Participation rewards only if the participating alliance has over 800kills or over (7x NUMBER OF PARTICIPATNS) deaths:
a) The 800 kills should be of 3 different alliances - would force alliances to fight multiple opponents.
b) Atleast 150 kills from an alliance in order to count as a different alliance - would avoid the go kill 1 guy so it counts.
c) 7x NUMBER OF PARTICIPATNS death count would mean that the respectives were trying to defend and lost the battle. Seven respawns per person should be a no problem in a defensive scenario.
Results:
- alliance A would have to kill atleast 150 members of each B, C or D and a total of 800 + kills.
- people would not be able to just plant and get rewards, they would have to fight/die for it.
- everyone that planted would be rewarded ONLY IF they actually participated.
The numbers here are something I thought of by analysing NW results. This could be improved over time, but would be a good start.
As a note: respect for the x3d achieving this state, but you guys should not kill good content out of greed, be responsible for improving content not destroying it. Use this power to create a good diplo for NWs during the week and create balance in the node wars, create a Discord channel for diplo where all participating guilds leadership should be added and before the NW start, make the teams so the fights are balanced. Challenging content is the best content, wars with no contest and free bags are fun once in a while and I am sure your own members will agree on this.
