Throne of Edana

Defeat the Bosses in each castle to earn the right to challenge Edana, the ruler of each castle.
- Every Sunday, the chosen Edana must defend their throne against other adventurers. Through battles with challengers, a new Edana is decided.
- The adventurer who ultimately claims the Throne of Edana will receive special privileges and rewards.

How to Apply	Use the "Edana Rising Token" item, which can be obtained by completing the weekly boss subjugation quest in each Edania region. Applications cannot be canceled. ※ The weekly boss subjugation quest resets every Thursday at 00:00 (UTC). You can only accept and complete one weekly quest per week. If you have already applied for the throne of one Edanian castle in a given week, you cannot apply for others that week. ※ The Edana Rising Token is bound to Family upon acquisition and is consumed upon use. ※ After applying with the token, you may update your character’s displayed AP & DP in the Throne of Edana UI by interacting with each castle's throne until the 10 challengers are selected. ex) If you applied with 355 AP & 430 DP, and later increase to 360 AP & 435 DP, your stats can be updated. ※ Edana cannot apply as a challenger to castles in other regions.
Selection Method (Max 10 Challengers)	Up to 7 adventurers who used the Edana Rising Token for each region are selected based on the highest combined AP & DP. (If tied, priority goes to the character with the highest Level and EXP.)

Game of the Edanas - Candidates	Starting 5 minutes before the match, speak with the "Throne" NPC at the relevant Edanian castle to enter.
Game of the Edanas - Candidates Rules	Only the character that used the Edana Rising Token can enter, and you must meet the minimum AP & DP requirements for that castle. The battle is a single-round free-for-all among up to 10 challengers, lasting up to 10 minutes or until only one final challenger remains. (If you don’t enter before the match starts, you'll be automatically disqualified and won't be able to join once the match has begun.) If more than one challenger remains at the end, the one with the highest remaining HP % is chosen as the final challenger. (If tied, priority goes to the challenger with higher AP & DP, then Level and EXP.) During the match, a shrinking veil will gradually reduce the area and deal damage to adventurers outside of it. The Emergency Escape cooldown resets when the 10-player challenger battle begins.

Game of the Edanas - Selection Entry	Final Challenger Chat with the "Throne" NPC at the castle you applied to enter. Current Edana Enter via the button in the Edana-exclusive UI.
Game of the Edanas - Selection Rules	Only the character that used the Edana Rising Token can enter, and you must meet the minimum AP & DP requirements for that castle. (For the current Edana, you must enter with the same character previously selected as Edana.) The match is a best-of-three (first to 2 wins), with each round lasting up to 3 minutes. Both participants engage in battle at fixed locations. The Emergency Escape cooldown resets 30 seconds before each round starts. If there is no clear winner at the end of a round, the winner is determined by remaining HP %. (If tied, priority goes to the challenger with higher AP & DP, then Level and EXP.) If there is no Final Challenger, the current Edana will automatically retain their throne. If there is no current Edana seated atop a throne, the final challenger standing becomes the Edana.

Throne of Edana Rules & Notes

Matches will use the equipment currently equipped by each Adventurer. You cannot change your gear after entering the match.
All matches are set during daytime hours.
There are no death penalties such as Combat EXP decrease or Crystal destruction during matches.
During the 10-challenger battle, all participants will be displayed as “Challenger,” and chat will be disabled during matches.
During the final challenger vs. Edana battle, all Family names will be visible. If you’re wearing a camouflage outfit, you’ll appear as "Unknown Adventurer."
Upon entering the match location, all character skill cooldowns will be reset, as well as Black Spirit’s Rage and Emergency Escape cooldowns.
After entering the match location and before the match begins, you cannot leave or change your assigned position.
Consumable items can be used in the battle area, but items such as Pure Black Stone, Devil’s Elixir, Mermaid’s Tear, etc. are not allowed. Any buffs from these items will be removed when you enter.
Equipment and Crystal Preset changes are not allowed during matches. Tamer class cannot ride Heuklang during matches.
If you disconnect during a match, you will automatically be marked as defeated.
- If you reconnect before a round starts in the Edana selection match, you may still participate.
  - However, if a round starts while you have not entered, you will automatically lose that round.
If everyone left in the match falls at the same time, the winner is decided by who has the highest displayed AP and DP. If that's a tie, it goes to whoever has the higher level, and if that's still tied, the one with more EXP wins.
During the 10-challenger battle, your guild members will appear in white on the minimap.

Throne of Edana - How It Works

The final 10 candidates must gather at the designated location until the match begins.
(Anyone preparing for the battle cannot step outside the marked circle before the match starts.)

Once the battle begins, all finalists' Family names are shown as "Challenger."
The top UI displays each participant's class, level, and remaining time.

When the time comes, a countdown begins and the final showdown starts.

The battle is a free-for-all lasting up to 10 minutes, until only one candidate remains.
If you die during the battle, you are eliminated.

Upon death, you can choose [Spectator Mode] or [Exit]—if you exit, you'll return to where you entered.

Defeat every other challenger,
and you'll earn the right to face Edana as the final challenger.

Game of the Edanas - Selection Rules

**The final challenger must wait at the designated location until the match begins.
(Just like before, you cannot step outside the marked circle before the match starts.)

The Game of the Edanas - Selection is a best-of-three, one-on-one duel.
The top of the screen displays the timer and the number of rounds won.

After each round, the UI shows whether you won or lost.

Edana's Privilages and Rewards

Adventurers chosen as the Edana will enjoy the following privileges and rewards.

No Karma Loss	Edana does not lose Karma when initiating forced PvP against other adventurers within their domain. However, adventurers attacked by Edana can counterattack. Edana cannot use forced PvP on their guild, platoon, or party members.
Increased Monster Zone Drop Rate Edana's Blessing	Edana can activate the Edana's Blessing buff (Item Drop Rate +100%) for up to 1 hour, up to 10 times per week. The Edana's Blessing buff UI will appear at the top of the screen when active. This buff applies across all servers and stacks with Arsha server and Conquest Lord buffs, allowing a maximum of Item Drop Rate +500%. The number of times you can use Edana’s Blessing resets whenever a new King of Edana is crowned or the current Edana’s term is renewed.
Instant Revival Without Death Penalty	Edana can instantly resurrect without any death penalty when dying within their domain. No death penalty applies within the domain, even if Edana's Karma is below zero.
Accumulated Tax Rewards	To enter Marni's Realm in Edana's domain, an entry scroll is required and can be purchased with Silver. You can purchase a Marni’s Realm entry scroll for each castle from Failed Edana, who is located near the corresponding castle. A portion of the price for each entry scroll is collected as tax, and only Edana can view the total amount of tax accumulated. Accumulated taxes are automatically sent to the previous Edana's Black Spirit's Safe when Edana is replaced, and details are provided via in-game Mail. If Edana retains their position for another term, one week's worth of taxes is automatically distributed. Taxes are calculated based on a set base amount plus a portion of the price for each Marni’s Realm entry scroll. The total tax collected may differ depending on the Edania castle. Aetherion Castle - Base amount: 3 billion Silver / Marni’s Realm Entry Scroll Price: 50 million Silver / Tax Rate: 0.4% Nymphamaré Castle - Base Amount: 5 billion Silver / Marni’s Realm Entry Scroll Price: 70 million Silver / Tax Rate: 0.3% Orbita Castle - Base Amount: 8 billion Silver / Marni’s Realm Entry Scroll Price: 80 million Silver / Tax Rate: 0.25% Tenebraum Castle - Base Amount: 10 billion Silver / Marni’s Realm Entry Scroll Price: 90 million Silver / Tax Rate: 0.25% Tenebraum Castle - Base Amount: 15 billion Silver / Marni’s Realm Entry Scroll Price: 100 million Silver / Tax Rate: 0.2% No taxes are accumulated in regions without the Edana. Taxes are not collected for Marni’s Realm entry scrolls purchased by Edana.
Edana's Crown	Edana receives a crown matching the occupied Edania castle, delivered to the Hakinza Sanctuary Storage. The crown is a temporary (7-day) item and can be equipped in the Pearl Outfit "Helmet" slot. While wearing the crown, Edana can use World Chat without consuming Energy or needing a Megaphone. In World, Server, and General Chat, Edana's messages display with a special icon and unique colors.

No Server Change Cooldown Removed Teleportation to Castle	Edana can freely change servers within their domain without any server change cooldown. Edana can instantly move to their castle. Note: This function cannot be used while trade items are in your Inventory.
Other	You can view the Family name of the Edana occupying each Edania castle from the World Map.
