Today's update brings Class Balance Adjustments, Dark Energy Floodlands, Processing UI improvements, and more.

New and Improvements

CLASSES

SORCERESS 
For Sorceress Succession, we've reduced the high PvP damage concentrated in Prime: Black Wave so you can no longer stack damage too easily with a single skill. At the same time, we've adjusted the PvP damage of other core Succession skills so you can make use of a wider range of skills alongside Prime: Dark Flame.

TAMER
Heuklang's role in PvP while mounted has been updated. We've adjusted the excessively high Damage Reduction Rate that previously allowed Tamer to take little to no damage, and improved the effects, controls, and skill combos while riding Heuklang. In particular, Tamer can now use the mobility from Legendary Beast's Power and Surging Tide to break into enemy lines and disrupt formations. In addition, changes to certain skill effects will allow Tamer to better support allies while they are attacking.

  • Removed the effect that greatly reduced damage taken by Tamer while riding Heuklang, and changed it so Damage Reduction Rate +10% is applied while mounted.

  • Added All Evasion +36 for 10 sec when using the skill.
  • Improved to combo faster into Heuklang: Trample.

  • Increased backward movement distance to match the distance of left/right movement.
  • Changed so after Evasion, pressing left/right + R2/RT will now perform Heuklang: Scratch instead of Heuklang: Whiplash.

  • Changed Bound on hits to apply in PvE only.
  • Adjusted the attack area to match the visual effect.
  • Added Magic AP +22 for 10 sec when using the skill.

  • Added Critical Hit Rate +20% (PvP Only) after learning Prime: Summon Heuklang.
 
Heuklang: Surging Tide
  • Added Knockback on hits.
  • Knockback is also applied to the 2 additional activations gained after learning Prime: Surging Tide.
  • Improved to immediately deal last attack damage upon landing a dash attack.
  • Added All Evasion -36 for 10 sec on hits.
  • Added Movement Speed -20% for 5 sec on hits.
  • Changed the skill cost: 80 MP → 200 Stamina
  • The 200 Stamina consumption for additional activations (up to 2 times) after learning Prime: Surging Tide remains unchanged.
  • Improved to combo faster into Heuklang: Surging Tide after other skills.
 
Heuklang: Lightning of Earth
  • Changed All Damage Reduction on hits: -20 → -25
  • Increased Recover HP per hit: 60 → 175
  • Improved to combo faster into Heuklang: Throat-Burn.
  • Added "Nullified during cooldown" to the Critical Hit Rate description to match the actual skill effect.
 
Heuklang: Fearful Trembling
  • Added Down Smash to the skill.
  • Adjusted the speed and camera effects of the skill.
 
Heuklang: Upward Claw

  • Changed controls from L2+□ / LT+X to L2+△ / LT+Y to match the Tamer skill.

Heuklang: Legendary Beast's Power
  • Changed to combo into Evasion or Scratch at any time while moving.
  • Improved Heuklang to rotate toward the camera direction at the start of the skill.
  • Increased Heuklang's rotation speed toward the camera direction while moving.

 

KUNOICHI
For Kunoichi Awakening, we adjusted how certain skills are activated so their movement distance is easier to gauge. In addition, the CC effect of Flow: Chakram Rise has been changed to enable new Knockdown combos in PvP.

  • Improved so that the skill can be comboed into the following skills smoothly:
    • Tendon Cutter, Ghost Step, Halo, Half Moon Slash
 
Penumbral Blade
  • Improved so that other Awakening skills combo into the skill smoothly.
  • Changed to move to the target only after maintaining a lock.
  • Increased Invincible duration by approximately 0.16 sec.
  • Reduced cooldown: 7 sec → 6 sec
 
Delighted Blast
  • Increased the movement distance and speed of the Moonlight.
  • Improved so that the skill can be comboed into other skills smoothly.

Danse Macabre
  • Removed the Sah Chakram throw cancel during certain skill combos. The character will now always move after throwing the Sah Chakram.
    • The skill's execution speed has been increased accordingly.
  • Changed to apply damage during the Sah Chakram throwing motion.
  • With the new movement mechanic, the character can no longer pass through targets, and the movement will end immediately upon colliding with an enemy.
    • The function to stop movement via R1/RB has been removed accordingly.

GUARDIAN
For Guardian Succession, we've improved overall survivability to better fit the shield-bearing concept. While the ally-support effect of Prime: Black Blood Circle has been removed, we adjusted the effects of Succession: Dragon's Calling so Guardian can hold out in enemy lines and hinder foes with a Movement Speed reduction debuff.

  • Changed to apply Damage Reduction Rate +30% while under Super Armor during the skill.
 
Omua's Circle
  • Added Super Armor.
  • Added Recover 2,500 HP to self when using the skill.

Omua's Flame
  • Added Forward Guard during the skill.

Sturdy Smite
  • Added Forward Guard during the skill and changed Bound to apply in PvE only.
  • Removed Down Smash.
  • Changed Melee Damage Reduction on hits to All Damage Reduction -20.
  • Changed so after learning the skill, it will now trigger instead of Juggernaut: Smite.
  • Reduced cooldown: 22 sec → 9 sec
 
Mountain's Echo
  • Changed so the skill activates when Rockslide I is on cooldown.
  • Improved so the skill can be comboed into Rockslide I smoothly.
  • Added a combo into Rockslide II.
 
SAGE
Sage Succession can use Prime: Rift Chain to vanish completely from an enemy's sight and reposition. Combined with Super Armor, this allowed Sage to maintain defensive effects through most actions while looking for CC opportunities. To introduce more risk when Prime: Rift Chain is on cooldown, we changed Dimensional Compression's defensive effect from Super Armor to Forward Guard.

DRAKANIA
Drakania Awakening has been adjusted to balance the overpowered Dragonblood: Tip of the Scale and further define the roles of her Hexeblood and Dragonblood skills. Previously, Dragonblood: Tip of the Scale combined wide-range Knockdown with Drakania Awakening's mobility, which led it to function as an engage AoE CC skill that could also bypass opponents' Forward Guard. Accordingly, we've reduced the effectiveness of Dragonblood: Tip of the Scale. Dragonblood skills have been adjusted to maintain defensive effects and focus on patiently looking for openings. In contrast, Hexeblood skills have been adjusted to use quick actions to apply CC to a small number of enemies, then commit to fast, heavy damage in exchange for taking on greater risk.

CONTENTS

Edania 3-Player Party Zone - Dark Energy Floodlands

A new party monster zone, "Dark Energy Floodlands," has been added to Edania.
As Edania remains a popular destination for many Adventurers, we have set the difficulty of this new zone so it can serve as a solid stepping stone to higher-tier zones.
 
Dark Energy Floodlands is a party zone spread across Edania, with each area structured around the influence of its respective Edana. As a party monster zone, Marni's Realm is not available. Instead, the zone is designed so that if the Edana ruling a particular area shows an "aggressive stance," you can move to another area and begin subjugating again. In this update, Dark Energy Floodlands will be added to the Orbita and Zephyros regions, and Edana's Blessing effects will also apply separately by region.

We hope this update gives Adventurers who prefer party play even more options and makes PvE even more enjoyable.

In a previous update, we significantly reduced the time required for house rentals and level upgrades.
With this update, we have removed the wait time for all Level 1 house rentals. Previously, renting a Level 1 house for any purpose other than a residence took 5 seconds. We have now standardized this process so you can set house usage and manage Contribution Points more quickly and conveniently.
  • Improved Lv. 1 house rental time on the World Map from 5 seconds to instant completion.

  • Added a description to non-tradeable Reformed Blackstar Weapons stating they were crafted by reforming non-tradeable equipment.
    • Fiery Blackstar Weapons, Storm Devoured Blackstar Weapons, Earthshaking Blackstar Weapons.
  • Changed so you can graduate Season regardless of whether you have a Time-filled Fragment.
    • Accordingly, the item's binding has been changed from character-bound to Family-bound.

  • Changed the starting NPC for the quest "Investigating Ancient Ruins" to ensure smoother quest progression.
    • The "Display Quest Location" function has been improved to more accurately mark objectives for this quest.
  • Revised certain lines of Zelfinith's dialogue about Lakiaro at Olvia Academy.
  • Fixed the issue where the following Knowledge entries could not be obtained in the Land of the Morning Light:
    • Whale Island, Water Ghost Rock, Beached Boat, Old Manuscript 
  • Removed the quest "[Weekly] Preparing to Leave" as it is no longer available following the Sycraia Underwater Ruins revamp.


 

NPC, BACKGROUND, SOUND

  • Liana has moved near the Altinova main gate Stable Keeper for better accessibility.
  • Updated some dialogue shown when first talking to the following NPCs:
    • Marian, Kael, Hamid, Jackson
  • Added an effect to the Sycraia Ruins Lower Zone to clearly distinguish the boundary between the monster zone and the water.

 

 


UI

For seasoned Adventurers who travel across territories and servers to watch prices, what matters most is making a quick call at the best rate. The existing "Sell All" option is simple, but it did not leave much room to respond to different price trends for each item.

With this update, we have added the "Sell Same Type" function. Even if your Inventory contains a mix of trade items, you can now choose exactly which goods to sell.

We hope this helps you fine-tune your Trading strategy: use the Quotation Board to sell favorable items first, and hold onto the rest until the timing is right.
  • Added the "Sell Same Type" function to the [Trade Manager] NPCs, allowing you to select and sell specific types of trade items from your inventory at once.
    • Select the Sell Same Type button for a specific item on the Quotation Board to sell all items of that type.
    • After a Bargain Success, an effect will highlight the individual sell button to make it easier to find.
 

Open Special Item UI Improvements

  • Improved so selecting "Open Automatically" also activates "Open Continuously".
  • Improved so the UI now shows your total owned box count and the number of boxes opened.
    • The name of the box currently being opened is displayed in a color corresponding to its item grade.
 

Processing UI Improvements

  • Added a filter button to the Processing Knowledge List.
  • Improved so the Processing Knowledge List is sorted in Ascending order. 
  • Improved so you can view the selected Knowledge description at the bottom of the Processing UI.
