Greetings, Adventurers.
The July 19 (Fri) emergency maintenance has been completed as of 19:30.
During the investigation of the Black Desert server instability issue that occurred at around 13:15 prior to the emergency maintenance, we identified a global simultaneous failure of a software program that was being used.
We apologize for the urgency of the maintenance and the lack of advance notice to our Adventurers, as we needed to perform it as quickly as possible to normalize our live services.
We have currently resolved the issue with the affected software program, and access to the game has been restored.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to adventurers by this sudden issue and urgent maintenance. Below are the details on the rewards for the inconvenience caused by today’s urgent maintenance.
Emergency Maintenance Compensation Notice
- Compensation Recipients: Any Family created prior to the urgent maintenance

- Claim Period: Until July 26, 2024 (Fri) 23:59
- Distribution Method: In-game Mail (B)
- If your character died due to this issue, destroyed crystals and lost EXP will be restored on July 25, 2024(Thu)
