To help address any questions regarding the crossplay update,
we've quickly compiled this FAQ for your viewing pleasure!
* This FAQ list will be updated regularly.
Q. Can I still use the old launcher from SEA/TH?
A. Once the SEA-TH crossplay update is released, you can no longer play the game with the old launcher. Please use the newly integrated launcher boasting improved security, quality-of-life improvements, and a sleek new design!
* You will need to uninstall the previous launcher after downloading the new launcher.
Q. I play Black Desert through Steam. How do I download the new launcher?
A. Adventurers on Steam only need download the latest update for Black Desert to log in! No need to delete any previous launchers as well.
Q. I deleted the shortcut for the Pearl Abyss launcher. Where can I find the original file?
A. The default install directory for the Pearl Abyss launcher is as follows.
C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Local\Pearl-Abyss-Launcher
Q. I lost all my saved in-game (Edit UI, skill preset, etc.) settings!
A. As was mentioned in a previous notice and in-game, if you had saved your in-game settings via “ESC (Menu) - Settings - Setting Archive,” you can restore your saved settings by downloading through the Setting Archive once more.

Q. Any changes to times after the crossplay update, ie. maintenance hours, quest reset time, etc.?
A. All content on the crossplay servers are attuned to GMT+8, so our Thai adventurers will need to adjust to the different time zones. Here are all time-related changes in detail.
* All time-related changes are for previous Thailand server adventurers.
* Previous times were adjusted to GMT+7. All notices henceforth will be reflecting the new GMT+8 times.

Q. I don’t speak Thai. Can I make my chat only display English text?
A. You can also change your chat window’s language settings in-game. Once set, your chat window will only display the designated language.

A. Certain in-game content has been reset due to the crossplay update. For more information, please refer to the notice below!
Q. I ran the launcher, but the patch download isn't working!
A. The patch will be downloaded after you click the Update button on the launcher.
Tip! You can enable automatic updates in the Launcher Settings to download patches automatically whenever there is an update!
