Hi, Guys~!

This is a post for ALL THINGS Epheria Sailboats, Epheria Frigates and Guild Galleys!!!

For all of you already starting to hoard the Materials to make these babies, this guide will provide you a detailed Material Map to make it easier to check on your progress.

For those who're New, it's Never Too Late to Start Gathering (or buying) the Materials for them!

To understand the Hype for these boats, they are LARGER, FASTER and are REPAIRABLE unlike your average Fishing Boat. They are for the Hardcore Would-Be Sailors/Pirates and are a MUST, MUST, MUST HAVES for ALL THINGS Sea Hunting!!!

So, Buckle Up because this guide is Not For The Faint Hearted.

A Material Map is a Condensed Map of Materials that shows what you need to Craft a certain item in-game.

The Comparisons

Confused about which boat to save up for (unless you're like me who is preparing to build all 3), No Worries! Shown below is the SOS you need in your BDO Life.

Just by L@@king, it is hard to deny the Attractiveness of the Epheria Frigate due to its generally Better Stats but Hold On To Your Horses. This boat is comparatively Harder To Make!!!

Both Epherias are boats that are For Personal Use so, You have to Gather (or buy) ALL of the Materials YOURSELF. On the Other Hand, the Guild Galley allows for Team Effort but the Journey there is also EQUALLY Long and Tedious!!

There is also the ability to buy the Ship Registration from MP. However, due to the grueling gathering process, it'll still take 1-2 months even for a hardcore lifeskiller depending on how contested the gathering areas are to craft just ONE. So, All the Best bidding for it!

The Breakdown

All three boats have their own Unique Features that make them So APPEALING for Die Hard BDO Fans to make them BDO Life Goals.

The Epheria Sailboat

The boat with the Largest Weight Capacity and have the Most Inventory Slots. It pretty much Screams Sea Trading Mount. Also comes with 4 Cannons, 2 on each side. So, for those who feel that the Epheria Frigate is too difficult to Craft, this is the Best Boat for You.

The Epheria Frigate

The Fastest Boat on the High Seas, this baby packs some Fire Power with 6 Cannons, 3 on each side. It still has a relatively Good Amount of Inventory Slots to hold quite a few things so, if you can afford to spare some Blood, Sweat and Tears, this baby is a Sweet Dream Boat for those thinking of making Whale Hunting part-and-parcel of their BDO Life.

The Guild Galley

The ship that ALL Guilds aspire to Craft in their Guild Houses. The Guild Galley packs the Most Fire Power amongst the three with 8 Cannons, 4 on each side. According to forums, there seems to be No Limit to how many Guild Galleys a Guild can make. So, craft a Fleet of Galleys. Hell, make it look like a scene out of Medi__eval Sea-Faring War if you want! However, the only downside is that only the Guild Master or Officer can take the ship out of the Guild Wharf and store it back in. Other than that, Anyone can steer the ship across the High Seas.

Requirements To Crafting Epherias & Galley

In order to start crafting the Epheria Sailboat/Frigate, you will need to unlock Port Epheria's Shipyard as shown below:

As for Guild Galleys, only the Guild Houses at Olvia, Velia and Altinova can craft the ship so take note!

For the Guilds that find it Impossible to successfully bid for these Guild Houses, no need to fret! There is also the ability to attempt a Guild Quest called [Guild] I Have a Dream that exchanges Old Moon Seals from doing Guild Quests for a Guild Galley!!! \o/

Recovering Ship's Durability & Stamina

The Most Important Information to note whilst on your voyage out at Sea!

These items Can Be Used At Sea!! So, make sure to stock up on these before departing for that Long Journey across the Margoria Sea.

To make Glue, you need to Gather some Lobsters and the Resource that drops it is the Giant Pearl Oyster! However, Do Take Note that since the ships are not out yet, the GPOs May Not Be Implemented either. But it's still good to know where they are Most Abundant for now, so I'm going to leave this here for future reference!

Making the Cannon Balls

Other than requiring a Siege Workshop Level 3 (which is not implemented yet), you can grind Insectivore Plant Flower or Leaf to make the Powder (you need Gathering Skilled 5 to gather them though). This area is highly contested so please keep in mind to share the map amongst those who need it too!

For Guild Galley Cannon Balls, you can Only obtain them from the Guild Wharf Managers priced at 10,000 silvers a piece!

Finally, we've come to the Most Grueling part of the guide and that's the Material Map for all the things you will Need to Craft the boats! Here we go....

Because the ships are Not Officially Released For SEA Yet, Some of the Last Tier Items Cannot Be Crafted. However, there is No Reason Not To Start hoarding the Bulk of the Materials Needed in preparation for the boats' arrival!
