My 2nd most chill money maker after AFK Fishing, is Cooking, with Gathering and Processing. Similar to the AFK Fishing guide, this is not basic or advanced cooking, the aim is to help you as it as helped me earn silver from the food I would normally cook for personal use.
You Will Need:
REQUIRED:
Residence - Any will do, the less CP required, the better. Residences can be found in towns, villages, and nearby surrounding areas.
> Open your map (M)
> Click town of your choice (I chose Calpheon)
> Filter "Residence" on the upper right hand corner of the map
> Select your Residence, and buy it with Contribution Points (CP)
Cooking Utensils - Any will do. Can be bought from the cook NPC inside an inn, bought from Central Market, or crafted in a Tool Woorkshop. The better the cooking tool, the less cooking time. If you choose to make your own tools (recommended), follow the steps for Residence, but this time filter "Tool Workshop" and choose the level (1-3).
Various Cooking Ingredients - Depending on your mastery level and which item you decide to cook, these materials will vary. You can refer to the crafting notes for the specific ingredients. For the sake of this guide, I chose to cook Honeycomb Cookie.
Honey - from Honey Production Node in Alejandro Farm
Egg - from Chicken Meat Production Node in Bartali and Finto Farm.
Milk - Harvested from Haystack in my Farm.
Wheat Dough - Process (Shaking), wheat flour and mineral water.
OPTIONAL:
Silver Embroidered Cook's Clothes - This is optional as cooking can be performed without it. But this helps lessen cooking time and give additional cooking exp. The higher the upgrade, the less cooking time spent and the more bonus cooking exp. I use a +3.
Lifeskill Accesories: Manos/Geranoa/Loggia - Increases your Lifeskill Mastery. The higher the mastery, the higher the chances of mass cooking (multiples), and the max amount made when max cooking happens. Also increases chances of getting the higher grade versions of the dish (blue instead of green), and the bonus profit from turning in Imperial Craft delivery boxes. Definitely something to invest in, but cooking can be performed without these.
Canape Clothes/Cook's Clothes - Pearl shop item that decreases cooking time and adds cooking exp. Similar to the Cook's clothes, but can be worn as costume as an added effect. Alternatively, you can buy the Cook's clothes from Luxury Vendor (Lizle Carta, Calpheon), and use a tailoring coupon from the Pearl Shop to turn it into a costume.
Let's Start Making Some Silver...
Mass cooking is more efficient with a higher weight limit, the more you want to afk cook, the more weight you need, you can adjust this accordingly based on how many times you wish to check your cooking, as you need to have the ingredients in your bag before going to your cooking utensil (if anyone knows if this will be updated, comment below). Once all the cooking is done, it's time to make some silver.
1. Imperial Crafting Delivery Boxes
I use Imperial Cuisine in the processing window (L) to turn Honeycomb Cookies x18 into a Master's Cooking Box, you can substitute this based on your cooking level. Also, your contribution points will affect how many you can exchange every reset, which I believe is every 3 hours (needs verification). I mass produce this and put in storage, so I just have to turn them in every reset.
2. Selling Good Feed in Central Market
Everyone needs to feed their pets, and personally the cheap feed bought from the stables is counter productive for me as you need way more to fill your pet's hunger. Hence, my go to feed is Good Feed, and seems like a lot of people prefer this as well. So why not take the chance and sell some. I make around 10k per batch, and sell 8k, keep 2k (lasts me 3 to 4 weeks). For as long as I can remember, there's always a demand for Good Feed.
3. Selling Milk in Central Market
One ingredient that is required in a lot of recipes but doesn't have a Node, is Milk. Currently I know 4 places where you can gather Milk, Wale Farm (near Olvia), Falres Dirt Farm (East of Calpheon), Bain Farmland (South of Calpheon), and Stonetail Horse Ranch. I also put Haystacks in my farm which gives a chance to get Milk, Beef and Ox Hide.
4. Selling Cooking Utensils In Central Market
Crafting these via the Tool Workshop is not actually cooking. But if you were making your own tools, it would be profitable to sell some extra as you wouldn't be able to use all of the ones you made anyway, and there's always a demand for it. The higher the utensil level, the more expensive, currently Advanced Cooking Utensil has the highest demand, and price.
5. Completing Random Cook Quests
I do not know what these are really called, but these are the quests that randomly pop up whenever you are mass cooking. It would ask you to cook 100 pieces of a food item and turn them in for a prize (I always choose 1000x Milk). But this quest is random, with the other quest giving onion or garlic as reward. This doesn't earn you silver, it's an indirect way, as getting 1000x free ingredients will save you some gathering time.
So that's how I earn silver from cooking. There's obviously a lot of preparation, but it's a worthy exercise as you also level other Lifeskills. It's also worth investing on early in the game as the higher your level and mastery is in cooking, the more efficient you will be in it, in turn earning you more silver. Just like in fishing, Cooking Level and Mastery doesn't happen overnight.

For gathering meat I also like to do hunting, less energy required, and levels your hunting too. I guess it depends on the available time I have for that day. If I have less time, I just gather meat (pork) from the boars in Northern Wheat Plantation which is very near my residence in Calpheon where I do the cooking.
Thank you all for your feedback!
oh thanks for the tip, i never knew about the haysack before i just rush to olvia whenever my energy s pumped up to get cows milk. I also do hunting but im not so sure if its recommended, any thoughts?
You actually get more than just Milk. Magical Haystack can be obtained by breeding regular Haystack until you reach this level muhc like any other seed, only it's not a plant and you'll see cows on your farm.
