Hangul originated from the belief that
if there is the sound of nature, there must also be the script of nature.
There have been various theories about the principles behind the creation of Hangul.
However, the discovery of the Hunminjeongeum Haerye in 1940
provided a detailed interpretation of Hunminjeongeum.
According to the [Hunminjeongeum Haerye], Hangul's vowels were designed
by embodying the forms of the fundamental elements that make up the world: heaven, earth, and man.
The principle of this is so simple and effective that it is still used as an input method
for mobile devices in Korea today. It remains more than sufficient to express all the sounds of the world.
As you explore the Land of the Morning Light, you'll often encounter the characters known as Hangul.
In Korea, October 9 is celebrated annually as "Hangul Day."
To celebrate Hangul Day, we invite you to delve into the fascinating creation of Hangul
and acquire the "Hunminjeongeum Haerye" that grants abundant effects to embark on a happy adventure.
