Introduction
Greetings adventurers, today I'm going to cover on what node to invest around Heidal. Do note that, what I'm going to share is based on my own personal opinion and setup I currently have. Heidal is basically a land of plantation aside Velia. There are a lot of good nodes located near Heidal. Besides, it also is known as BDO Silkroad. If you intended to do advance trading from Grana to Valencia, you definitely will cross the following path. If you have not seen my node investment you may click on the link below:
1 - Velia
2- Olvia
Pre-requisite
1) Sufficient amount of Contribution Point (CP)
2) Worker Lodging
How many workers in Heidal
There are a total of 28 workers (27 from lodging + 1 free from town) can be hired in this town. You can purchase an additional 3 lodging from pearls which make it up to 31 workers at
Heidal. You may not need to unlock all the Lodging at Velia, just research on the nodes that you want to invest and unlock accordingly.
Additionally, you may refer to the Heidal Lodging optimization from BD Foundry. This will save you a significant amount of CP.
What node to Invest?
There are 2 nodes which I find it's a must to get in my opinions which are Cooking Honey & Excavation. Cooking Honey used as a cooking base materials while Excavation produces traces which required for alchemy. If you are not into those, you can collect those at early games and sell them to the market for extra silver.
For me, the node in Heidal more toward collecting materials for Alchemy. You may find Red Tree Lump, Silver Azalea, tiger mushroom, and sunrise herb which are base material for Alchemy. You may refer to my node investment below to give you some general idea if you have a similar build like mine.
Nodes | Materials | Total CP from Heidal | Node Linkage | Remarks |
Alejandro Farm | Cooking Honey | 4 | Heidal --> Lynch Farm Ruins --> Alejandro Farm
Lynch Farm Ruins |
Excavation (Altar Imp's Broken Trumpet, Wagon Wheel, Cloths from the Altar Imp Barracks, Trace of Savagery, Trace of Hunting) |
2 | Heidal --> Lynch Farm Ruins |
Make sure you have at least 6 inventory slots as this node gives 5 materials. Most valuable materials here are Trace of Savagery and Hunting |
Silver Azalea, Bunch of Silver Azaleas | 2 | Heidal --> Lynch Farm Ruins
Northern Plan of Serendia | Silver Azalea, Bunch of Silver Azaleas | 3 | Heidal --> Lynch Farm Ruins --> Northern Plan of Serendia
Maple Timber, Red Tree Lump | 3 | Heidal --> Lynch Farm Ruins --> Northern Plan of Serendia
Kamasylve Temple | Tiger Mushroom, Big Tiger Mushroom | 7 | Heidal --> Eastern Border --> Kamasylve Temple
Balenos Forest | Sunrise Herb, Pile of Sunrise Herb | 9 | Heidal --> Northern Guard Camp-->Heidal Pass -->Balenos Forest | I do not recommend this as it is very costly in terms of CP investment. It recommended connecting through Velia as CP cost is way cheaper (6 CP to unlock both nodes). The reason why I invested this because I prefer all alchemy material to be in the same town (OCD attack). |
Ash Timber, Spirit Leaf | 9 | Heidal --> Northern Guard Camp-->Heidal Pass -->Balenos Forest |
Total CPs required for setup above
* This excludes CPs invested to the inventory
Items | Total CP | Lodging Location |
Nodes | 26 | |
Lodging | 8 |
Heidal 8-1, Rm.1 Heidal 8-1, Rm.2 Heidal 8-1, Rm.3 |
Total | 34 |
