After the 20 September update, if you still have a Summer Season 2023 seasonal character who has not yet graduated, and who has not yet used their Fughar's Timepiece, can you still use said Fughar's Timepiece to create a second Summer Season 2023 seasonal character?

If so, will this affect the number of Season Character Creation Coupons after September 20? Please clarify. Thanks.

It gets replaced by the exp tagging system. One less item clutter in our inventories. I think you can still use your timepiece one last time since you do not officially graduate.

I just got a reply from customer support. Many thanks to the GM who answered my inqury:

"We understand your inquiry regarding Fughar's Timepiece. In line with this, please be informed that Fughar's Timepiece does not create a second Seasonal character. Instead, it transfers the Seasonal benefits to a normal character. After using the Fughar's Timepiece, your previous Season character will become a normal character.

"As stated in the notice, adventurers yet to graduate from the 2023 Summer Season will see their Season Character Ticket count at 3, but will see the ticket count drop to 2 upon graduation.

"Also, please be informed that you can still use the Fughar's Timepiece from the Summer Season after tomorrow's maintenance."

Hi, Can I ask some more questions related to this and some more. This new season notes were confusing me.

1. Should I use the fughars timepiece now to copy to a new seasonal character before 20th or wait till I reach 62?

2. In the reply from the GM, "it does not create a second Seasonal character". Does this mean that I will have only normal characters if I use fughars timepiece? If so, I will not get the second gift box if I use Timepiece before 20th?

3. Should I complete my season pass before 20th?

4. Should I sell all the season items before 20th?5. I have 1 Character(+) Symbol and 2 unlocked symbol in my character selection list.What does this mean? Should I create three characters before 20th? Or is this the only available slots for me to create characters in any time of the game?

As mentioned in my post above (quoting a Pearl Abyss GM who answered my inquiry via customer support):

If this is true, it doesn't matter if you don't graudate the character before the 20th.

After tomorrow, you can still use the Summer Season 2023 Fughar's Timepiece, if you still have it, to transfer seasonal character status to another character.

The Play Every Day in the All-New Season! post also implies that the Fughar's Timepiece item will not be immediately removed after tomorrow's maintenance:

"※ The Fughar's Timepiece acquired via the 2023 Summer Season will be removed during the Dec 27, 2023 (Wed) maintenance."

The GM is saying that you can't have two seasonal characters at the same time. Using Fughar's Timepiece, seasonal character status will transfer from Character A to Character B, i.e. Character A will not retain seasonal character status, but Character B will become seasonal.

In other words, the Timepiece will convert Seasonal Character A and Normal Character B into Normal Character A and Seasonal Character B.

Opinions are probably divided on this one. But, as someone who doesn't grind often, my personal choice would be to sell them, since they are going to dramatically drop in value after tomorrow's maintenance.

This means you have three unlocked character creation slots. You can create three more characters any time you want. Doesn't matter if it's before or after the 20th.
