I’ve noticed that the development team often disregards player feedback, leading to dissatisfaction and a decline in the player base. While the developers are knowledgeable, they seem to lose sight of common sense by ignoring the global community’s needs. Here's my constructive feedback for improving the game and re-engaging players:
-
Bring Back Open-World PvP with Limits
Reintroduce guild wars and open-world PvP, but with limitations to satisfy both PvE and PvP players. For example, allow guild wars only in specific "Node War" servers. Outside of these servers, players at war should only be able to attack each other using the "Alt+C" mode, which would still incur a karma penalty. This way, PvP enthusiasts can enjoy combat, while PvE players aren't constantly disrupted. -
PvP at Grinding Spots with a Balance for Non-PvP Players
Bring back PvP at grinding spots so players can defend their territory. However, to balance this, extend the duration of Marni's Realms (or similar features) for players who prefer PvE grinding. This approach would cater to both competitive and casual players, making everyone happy. -
Simplify Main Quests for Alt Characters
Make the main questline easier for alternate characters. If one character on your account completes the main quest, automatically mark it as completed for your alts. Many players find repeating quests tedious when rerolling. To engage players in the story, consider creating an anime or book based on the game's lore rather than forcing them through the questline. -
Release Patches and Expansions Globally, Not Just in Korea
Stop releasing major content only in Korea first. Players from all regions are spending money on the game, so treat them equally. Releasing patches and expansions globally will show respect for the entire player base, not just Korean players. -
Make All Languages Available on All Clients
The game is already translated into multiple languages, so why not make these available across all clients? Give players the option to choose their preferred language. This would enhance the overall experience and make the game more accessible.
In conclusion, fairness is key. Listen to the entire player base, not just one region or demographic, and make decisions that benefit all. Thank you for considering these suggestions!
