Global Lab Login Method Change Details

Greetings, Adventurers.

The login method for the Black Desert Global Lab will be changed

to the Pearl Abyss ID you are using on the live servers after the maintenance.

In the previous [Announcement] Global Lab Login Method Changing Soon post,

we briefly introduced the login method change.

Through this notice, we aim to provide the related schedule and detailed guidance on how to use the Black Desert Global Lab.

To ensure a more stable transition, the change will take place during the Nov 29, 2024 (Fri) maintenance,

instead of the initially announced Nov 28, 2024 (Thu).

Accordingly, after next week's maintenance, you will be able to download

the new Pearl Abyss Launcher and install and access the Black Desert Global Lab client,

instead of using the existing Black Desert Launcher.

Additionally, Adventurers in the Asia region who are already using the Pearl Abyss Launcher

can use it to install and access Global Lab.

Please refer to the details below for more information on the changes and how to use Global Lab.

보다 더 안정화된 변경 작업을 위해, 변경 작업은 최초 공지된 2024년 11월 28일(목)이 아닌

2024년 11월 29일(금) 정기점검 중 진행될 예정입니다.

이에 따라 차주 정기점검 후 검은사막 연구소 접속 시 기존의 검은사막 런처가 아닌,

새롭게 펄어비스 런처를 다운로드받아 검은사막 연구소 클라이언트를 설치 및 접속하실 수 있습니다.

또한, 이미 펄어비스 런처를 이용중인 아시아 권역 모험가님들은 연구소 클라이언트를 설치 후 접속하실 수 있습니다.

검은사막 연구소의 이용 방법과 변경 사항에 대한 자세한 내용은 아래를 참고해 주시길 바랍니다.

親愛的冒險家們您好，我們是黑色沙漠全球研究室營運團隊。

黑色沙漠全球研究室登入方式，將透過定期維護變更為各正式伺服器中使用的PEARL ABYSS ID。

上次已在「公告」黑色沙漠全球研究室登入方式變更說明」中簡單地說明過登入方式變更內容，欲透過本公告詳細地說明黑色沙漠研究室的使用方式及相關日程。

為了更加穩定的變更作業，變更作業將於2024年11月29日(五)定期維護中進行，而非最初公告的2024年11月28日(四)。

因此，下週定期維護後登入黑色沙漠研究室時，可以下載並安裝新的PEARL ABYSS啟動器及登入黑色沙漠研究室，而非使用原本的黑色沙漠啟動器。

此外，已經正在使用PEARL ABYSS啟動器的亞洲地區冒險家們，可以在安裝研究室主程式後進行登入。

How to Use the Black Desert Global Lab

① Install the Pearl Abyss Launcher

※ This does not apply to Asia (TH/SEA) adventurers who are already using the Pearl Abyss Launcher.

※ You can pre-install the Pearl Abyss Launcher through the below link.

② Log in with your Pearl Abyss ID
※ What is a Pearl Abyss ID?: It is an integrated ID you are using for Black Desert live servers that allows you

to easily use all games serviced by Pearl Abyss, including the Global Lab.

You can use your Pearl Abyss ID to log into the Global Lab.
* After the maintenance, existing Global Lab access will no longer be available, and all related data will be deleted.

③ Re-install the Global Lab client through the Pearl Abyss Launcher

You can install the Global Lab client on the Pearl Abyss Launcher after the Nov 28 maintenance.

※ Adventurers who already have access to Global Lab can also use the above method to easily install the client.
However, if you want a faster method to install the client, you can also install through the below method.

1. Create a new folder named “Black Desert_Global Lab” at where you wish to install the new Global Lab client.

2. Go to the existing Global Lab folder, find the folder named ”Paz”, and move it into the newly created ”Black Desert_Global Lab” folder.

3. Install the Global Lab client through the Pearl Abyss Launcher.

※Important Note! When installing on the launcher, you need to set the install route to the higher folder of the newly created "Black Desert_Global Lab" folder.
When you designate a higher folder, installation will proceedd with the "Black Desert_Global Lab" folder set within the higher folder.

(Steam) How to Use the Black Desert Global Lab

■ How to Use the Black Desert Global Lab on Steam – TH/SEA region users

1. Start Black Desert (Pearl Abyss Launcher) from Steam.

2. Select Global Lab in the Pearl Abyss Launcher to install and connect.

■ How to Use the Black Desert Global Lab on Steam – Users outside of TH/SEA

1. Start Black Desert (Pearl Abyss Launcher) from Steam.

2. Click the Black Desert Global Lab icon in the launcher.

3. Clicking the icon will start the Pearl Abyss Launcher.

4. Select Global Lab in the Pearl Abyss Launcher to install and connect.

New Global Lab Terms of Service

■ Terms of Service

After reinstalling the Black Desert Global Lab client according to the method applicable to each region, Global Lab access will be available if you agree to the new Terms of Service.

The new Global Lab Terms of Service will be updated on the Global Lab website on Nov 28.

With the use of Pearl Abyss ID, Global Lab will also have access to account and privacy security features provided by Pearl Abyss ID.
Global Lab’s website and feedback process will also be changed and improved.

※ 펄어비스 ID란? : 검은사막 라이브 서버를 이용하고 계신 계정으로,
앞으로 검은사막 연구소를 포함하여 펄어비스에서 서비스하는 모든 게임을 하나의 펄어비스 ID로 간편하게 이용하실 수 있는 통합 ID입니다.

펄어비스 ID를 통해 검은사막 연구소에 로그인하실 수 있습니다.
* 기존 검은사막 연구소 계정은 점검 후 더 이상 이용하실 수 없으며, 관련 정보도 즉시 파기됩니다.

③ 펄어비스 런처를 통해 검은사막 연구소 클라이언트 재설치

펄어비스 런처를 통한 검은사막 연구소 클라이언트 설치는 11월 28일 점검 이후부터 가능합니다.

※ 기존의 검은사막 연구소를 다운로드 받아 이용 중이신 모험가님도 위 방법을 통해 간단하게 클라이언트를 새로 설치하실 수 있으나,
보다 더 빠르게 클라이언트 설치를 원하시는 경우, 아래의 설치 방법도 사용하실 수 있습니다.

1. 새롭게 검은사막 연구소 클라이언트를 설치할 경로에 파일명 'Black Desert_Global Lab'으로 새 폴더를 생성합니다.

2. 기존 검은사막 연구소가 설치되어 있던 경로로 이동하여, 'Paz' 폴더를 'Black Desert_Global Lab' 폴더로 안으로 옮깁니다.

3. 펄어비스 런처에서 검은사막 연구소를 설치합니다.

※중요! 이때, 설치 경로를 새롭게 생성한 'Black Desert_Global Lab' 폴더의 상위 폴더로 설정해야 합니다.
상위 폴더로 지정하실 경우, 상위 폴더 내에 Black Desert_Global Lab 경로가 설정되며 설치가 진행됩니다.

각 권역별 해당되는 방법으로 검은사막 연구소 클라이언트를 재설치하신 후, 신규 서비스 이용 약관에 동의할 경우 검은사막 연구소 이용이 가능합니다.

신규 연구소 이용 약관은 11월 28일 연구소 홈페이지를 통해 확인하실 수 있습니다.

펄어비스 ID로 변경됨에 따라, 검은사막 연구소는 라이브 서비스와 통합된 계정 보안 및 개인정보 보호 시스템을 제공합니다.
또한, 검은사막 연구소 홈페이지의 도메인과 의견 보내기 방식이 변경 및 개선됩니다.

可以透過PEARL ABYSS ID登入黑色沙漠研究室。
* 原本的黑色沙漠研究室帳號在維護後會無法使用，且相關資訊會立即銷毀。

③ 透過PEARL ABYSS啟動器重新安裝黑色沙漠研究室主程式

透過PEARL ABYSS啟動器安裝的黑色沙漠研究室主程式，可以在11月28日維護後開始使用。

※ 下載原本的黑色沙漠研究室且正在使用的冒險家，可以透過上述方式簡易地重新安裝主程式，如果想更快速地安裝主程式，也可以使用下列安裝方法。

1. 在欲安裝新黑色沙漠研究室主程式的路徑中，以檔案名稱「Black Desert_Global Lab」創建新資料夾。

2. 移動至原本設有黑色沙漠研究室的路徑，將「Paz」資料夾移動到「Black Desert_Global Lab」資料夾內。

3. 在PEARL ABYSS啟動器中，安裝黑色沙漠研究室。

※重要！這時，須將安裝路徑設定為新創建的「Black Desert_Global Lab」資料夾的上層資料夾。
指定為上層資料夾時，在上層資料夾內設定好Black Desert_Global Lab路徑，即可進行安裝。

1. 在Steam啟動器執行黑色沙漠(PEARL ABYSS啟動器)。

2. 在PEARL ABYSS啟動器選擇並安裝黑色沙漠研究室後，進行登入。

1. 在Steam啟動器執行黑色沙漠(PEARL ABYSS啟動器)。

2. 在黑色沙漠啟動器選擇「立即前往研究室」。

3. 選擇「立即前往研究室」時，會執行PEARL ABYSS啟動器。

4. 在PEARL ABYSS啟動器選擇並安裝黑色沙漠研究室後進行登入。

全新黑色沙漠研究室使用條款

■ 服務使用條款說明

以符合各地區的方式重新安中黑色沙漠研究室主程式後，同意新服務條款時，可以使用黑色沙漠研究室。

新研究室使用條款可以在11月28日透過研究室官方網站確認。

隨著變更為PEARL ABYSS ID，黑色沙漠研究室也和正式伺服器一樣，將提供強化的帳號安全及個人資料保護系統。
此外，黑色沙漠研究室網站的域名和傳送意見方式將進行變更及改善。

日後為了在黑色沙漠研究室使用上不會造成不便，我們會全力以赴。
