Alchemy is the final step of Life Skill contents. There is nothing easy about Alchemy, from gathering ingredients, to figuring out the recipes. This is why many adventurers find it hard to start Alchemy.
As your level goes up, you will be in desperate need of Elixir, Magic Crystal, Alchemy Stone, and Processing Materials that can be earned through alchemy.
Some alchemists made a fortune with imperial crafting delivery. Alchemy is definitely cumbersome but it will ensure you great profit.
This guild will tell you all about alchemy, which might not have been easy to start.
It will focus on preparing the ingredients and earning silver coins.
If you hesitated because you think it’s difficult, this is the chance!
Preparing for Alchemy
Alchemy is very similar to cooking. The only difference are the ingredients and the outcomes.
You have to install an Alchemy tool at your residence and then put ingredients to perform alchemy. Alchemy clothes will help you with faster and more efficient alchemy.
As you can see, the procedure itself is very simple but it is not easy to prepare the ingredients for alchemy.
You have to obtain them by cultivating, Exploration Node Production, or gathering them yourself.
So it order to perform alchemy, you have to secure certain amount of contribution points and energy beforehand.

◈ Must-haves for Efficient Alchemy!!
1. Silver Embroidered Alchemist's Clothes “Movement Speed Level + 1” and “AlchemyTime: -1 sec”, might not be that appealing if you haven’t enhanced yet. The Silver Embroidered Alchemist's Clothes is worthwhile after enhancement. The abilities of enhanced Silver Embroidered Alchemist's Clothes are: +1: Movement Speed Level +1 & Alchemy Time: -2 sec & Alchemy EXP +10% +2: Movement Speed Level +2 & Alchemy Time: -3 sec & Alchemy EXP +15% +3: Movement Speed Level +2 & Alchemy Time: -4 sec & Alchemy EXP +20% +4: Movement Speed Level +3 & Alchemy Time: -5 sec & Alchemy EXP +25% +5: Movement Speed Level +3 & Alchemy Time: -7 sec & Alchemy EXP +35% You can earn Alchemy EXP Bonus by enhancing the Clothes, so it is better to at make enhancement at +1 or +2. You can craft Silver Embroidered Alchemist’s Clothes at “Housing: Costume Mill”.
2. Alchemy Tool You can craft Intermediate Alchemy Tool (Durability 500) at Tool Workshop Level 3, Advanced Alchemy Tool (Durability 900, Alchemy Time: -1 sec) at Tool Workshop Level 4. You need to collect rough stone and log by yourself. We recommend advanced tools to do this. Remember that Tool Workshop Level 4 is only at Glish 3.
Intermediate and Advanced Alchemy Tools are usually out of stock at the marketplace. So if you can’t craft it yourself, purchase the Alchemy Tool(Durability 100) from the General Good Vendor in each town.
Materials for Intermediate Alchemy Tool: 40 Rough Stones, 25 Logs, 20 Melted Iron Shards, 10 Black Stone Powder Materials for Advanced Alchemy Tool: 30 Polished Stones, 15 Usable Scantlings, 24 Melted Iron Shards, 20 Black Stone Powder
3. Various kinds of Buff Alchemy Stone of Life or foods such as Sute Tea (Life EXP Gain +8%), Teff Bread (Cooking Time: -3%), and Teff Sandwich (Cooking Time: -5%) are useful for reducing time for Alchemy.

How to Obtain Main Ingredients
Ingredients for alchemy include Herb, Blood, Special Gathering Ingredient, Powder, Trace, Fruit, Sap, and Mushroom.
The ingredients are different depending on what you are going to craft through alchemy, so you have should set a goal rather than collecting all the ingredients. Refer to the list below to learn about how to obtain main ingredients of alchemy.
1. Herb
You can obtain herbs through various ways.
You can either gather herbs you see or cultivate them yourself. Also, you can obtain some through Exploration Node Production.
However, the easiest way is to purchase herb from .
But for weeds, the only way to gather them is with your bare hands.

2. Beast Blood
You can gather beast blood with Sap Gathering Tool after hunting down a beast. Also, bloods of different groups have the same effect so use the one that’ easier to get.

Purified Water and Distilled Water, which is better?
Purified water and distilled water are treated as the same ingredient, so get anyone of them. Both can be earned by processing “Bottle of River Water”. “Bottle of River Water” can be gathered by right-clicking an “empty bottle” while your feet are in the river or fountain. You can purchase empty bottle from Material Vendor.
You can make purified water by thinning (processing) “Bottle of River Water” and distilled water by heating (processing) the bottle. You can do thinning only in windy place, so it is better to process the bottle to distilled water that requires no condition.

3. Gathering special ingredients
You can obtain the following ingredients at a low rate while lumbering various trees. Your Gathering Level should be Skilled Lv.5 or higher. You can also obtain them at a low rate by sending workers to specific lumbering nodes.
But we recommend you to purchase them from the marketplace if you want to produce them at a large scale since you may not obtain enough ingredients by gathering or through node production.

4. Powder
You can obtain following powders at a low rate while mining various ores when your Gathering Level is Skilled Lv.5 or higher.
Also, you can obtain them at a low rate in specific mining nodes, and you have to send workers to several nodes in order to have sufficient supplies.
If you are still not satisfied, you can purchase them at the marketplace.

5. Trace
Traces are very scarce since the only way to obtain them is through “Exploration Node Production - Excavation”. Remember that you can send workers after getting permission by from the NPC of the relevant Node by consuming some energy.
Even though some monsters may drop Traces at a very low rate, you cannot rely on it as a source of ingredients. Therefore, you need to produce it with your workers for a steady supply and get the rest from the marketplace.

6. Fruit
You can obtain fruit at a low rate while gathering grass, crop, mushroom, flower, and other things you can gather using your hoe.
Also, you can obtain fruit at a high rate while breeding the crops in your garden. But farming takes a long time, so we recommend you to buy them at marketplace unless you want to start farming.

You can obtain them by using a sap gathering tool or through Exploration Node Production.
We recommend you to at you gather it yourself because you can obtain large amount, and the three is relatively easy to find. Exploration Node Production is not the best way since it has low rates of earning sap, and it takes a long time.

Journey to Become an Alchemy Master
If you are done preparing the ingredients, now is the time to get down to alchemy.
You should start from pure liquid reagent and pure powder reagent, which are the basics of alchemy. Increase your alchemy level and prepare for higher level ingredients.
When you have reach Beginner Lv.10 for alchemy, you can take daily alchemy advancement quest from Olvia. Also, complete the enhancement quests through black spirit.
You can take the quest in every 5 levels beginning from Beginner Lv.10 to earn lots of EXP reward.
When you reach Beginner Lv.10, you can receive the advancement quest every 5 levels. The following are the main Alchemy ingredients you can make via alchemy. Refer to recommended elixir and prepare ingredients in advance.

You can receive repeated quests from the Town of Olvia when your alchemy level reaches Beginner Lv.10. It is convenient since you can prepare all ingredients beforehand and complete the quests at once. Also, since you can receive contribution points and alchemy EXP and recover energy as a reward, it is a perfect way to level up your alchemy.

Making Profit in the Marketplace
If you plan to make sales on the marketplace, you need to be sensitive about the marketplace prices. You need to start with making the items that have steady demand and can be sold at a high price.
You should know about this while you’re collecting the ingredients.
The Elixir of Fury, Elixir of Will, Elixir of Time, Elixir of Demihuman Hunt, and Magic Crystal of Infinity - HP Recovery, Magic Crystal of Infinity - MP Recovery have a steady demand.
Elixir of Fury increases attack power and Elixir of Will protects you from certain level of attacks from the Boss Monster.
Elixir of Time increases Life EXP and Elixir of Demihuman Hunt increases Attack Power when you’re
Hunting Demihumans Monsters.
These items have earned the love of the adventurers for a long time, so the price will be stable unless there is an excessive supply.
It’s a good idea to target the niche market or an item that is low in stock because of low supply. Among the crystals, Magic crystal of Infinity - HP Recovery and Magic Crystal of Infinity - MP Recovery are the most popular ones.
They are both crystals that can be equipped on the weapon slot and have great efficiency while hunting. Along with elixir and crystals, 1st ~ 3rd Alchemy ingredients are also very popular. Adventurers usually purchase the ingredients for charging alchemy stones or alchemists purchase them to replenish their own ingredients
Alchemy Advancement Quest
Advancement Quest is a professional quest that you can receive after reaching a specific Life Level. The biggest feature of advancement quest is that you will receive large amount of Life EXP. Also, for high-level advancement quest, you can receive expensive items such as “Sharp Black Crystal Shard” or “Hard Black Crystal Shard” as a reward. Not only can that, earning EXP can be something fun to do while you are doing the same work repeatedly.
You can find advancement quest easily by pressing Guide button after summoning the Black Spirit. If you press the button, you will see many Life Skill Advancement Quests you can do. The quests are not given by the Black Spirit but it will lead you to the NPC that gives the request. You can skip regular quests, but don’t forget to do advancement quests!
