Pets
Pets are Adventurers‘ loyal and cute companions on their long journey.
Check out how to get them, what roles they have, and what they can do below.
Meet your Pet Companions
Pets are purchasable from the Pearl Shop (F3) by default; you can also acquire 3 of them by completing the main quests.
These quests to obtain pets can be found in the Quests (O) window → Suggested → “[ADV Support] Pets, Loyal Companions”.

What name will you give your new, cute friend~?
[Pet List and Features]
Whether obtained from quests or the Pearl Shop, Pets can be viewed in your pet list by clicking the Equipment (I), the paw-print icon in the left-hand corner, or the pet tab of the ESC menu.
From the pet list, you can view all the pets that are currently adventuring with you and set each pet’s information and behavior mode.
Behavior Mode
Pets’ behavior mode can be set as Cautious, Average, or Agile; the more active their behavior mode is, the faster they will pick-up items, but at the same time, their hunger levels will also decrease faster.
(Take care of your pets’ hunger level, as they will not pick-up items and their talents will not take effect if their hunger level reaches 0.)
Right-click this behavior mode icon to arrange all your pets by behavior mode.
Feeding Pets
If your pet isn’t picking up items due to a low hunger level, you’ll need to purchase feed from a Stable Keeper NPC or the Central Market and raise your pet’s hunger level by feeding it.
Special Skills
Each pet has their own special skill. These special skills are not enabled when pets are first summoned and can be enabled through left-click and right-click. Left-click will enable only the selected pet’s special skills and right-click will enable the special skill of all the summoned pets.
For special skills such as Hostility Detection and Finds Rare Monsters, it will leave a red marker on your screen when a target is found. If you do not want it to be displayed on your screen, click the Pet: Command to disable it and it will no longer be displayed. However, talents like Durability Reduction Resistance and Chance to Gain Higher-Grade Knowledge Increase cannot be disabled.
Refer to the table below for which special skills stack and which do not.

Then, shall we learn how to exchange pets?
- 1. Select Exchange from the Pet List menu and the Pet Exchange UI will appear.
- 2. Among the currently checked-in pets, you press the Exchange button to select the pet you want to exchange or to cancel the selection.
- 3. Once you’ve selected at least 2 pets you want to exchange, you can select the desired appearance and skills to be inherited from your registered pets before exchanging.
- 4. TheTier Increase Chance goes up depending on the number of selected pets’ and their tiers when exchanging.
For instance, when exchanging a tier 3 pet and a tier 1 pet, if you select the tier 1 pet’s appearance, then regardless of the obtained pet’s tier, its appearance will be the same as the tier 1 pet.
